Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Social distancing efforts may keep us safe at home and, yes, perhaps a little restless, but they also remind us how critical nature is for our well-being. The Western New York Land Conservancy protects land vital for growing our food and maintaining our physical and mental health.
Each year the Land Conservancy hosts events and nature hikes. We clear trails, pull invasive plants, and monitor our properties. We send letters and newsletters to our members. Other volunteer opportunities include being a property steward, or doing technical research. We also have internships available for students or recent graduates. But in these trying times, when many people are searching for a way to get outdoors while remaining safe and healthy, we’ve created new opportunities for you—including becoming a citizen scientist!
If you are interested in joining our wonderful team of volunteers, please fill out the form below and we will be in touch very soon.
If you would prefer to print and mail a hard copy of your volunteer information, please mail it to the Western New York Land Conservancy, P.O. Box 471, East Aurora, NY 14052.
