You can help…

The Western New York Land Conservancy is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. We depend on members and donors to support our work.

Although we have raised millions of dollars to protect the special places in our region, very little of that pays for our operational costs – the nuts and bolts of running our organization like staff time and paying our bills.

Instead, donations from people who also treasure working farmland and natural areas pay for those nuts and bolts and make our land conservation work possible. We use these donations wisely. For example, in 2013, with an approximately $350,000 operating budget, our staff raised nearly $3 million dollars to protect new land.

There are many ways that you can contribute to the Land Conservancy. You can make a donation, become a member or a volunteer, or through planned giving.

And remember, because we are a non-profit, donations to the Land Conservancy are tax deductible. A copy of our latest financial report may be obtained from the NYS Attorney General’s Charity Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York 10271
