Communications Manager

The Land Conservancy is hiring a Communications Manager who will be responsible for leading internal and external outreach, engagement, and communications activities. This full-time position will develop and implement a communications plan that supports all of the Land Conservancy’s programs. The position will direct and oversee communications that raise awareness of the Land Conservancy’s mission and work with our members and the public. The Communications Manager will be part of the Development Department and will have support from the Development and Communications Assistant.

Development and Communications Assistant

The Land Conservancy seeks to add a Development and Communications Assistant who will primarily provide administrative support to our fundraising and outreach work, including support to the Executive Director as needed. The Development and Communications Assistant will contribute to a diverse array of projects, including but not limited to farmland and natural land acquisitions, a multi-year effort to restore habitat in the Niagara Gorge, and a community-conservation project to create a new urban nature trail and greenway in downtown Buffalo. The work will provide opportunities for engaging the Land Conservancy’s members and the general public.
