Join the Western New York Land Conservancy for an engaging evening program to learn how to use iNaturalist and eBird, two powerful community science tools that help you identify and report wildlife sightings while contributing to conservation efforts.

 

Led by two staff experts, Andrew Gaerte and Josh Balisteri, this hands-on session will teach you the basics in each app, from logging observations and identifying species to understanding how your data supports scientific research and habitat protection at the WNY Land Conservancy. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this program is a great opportunity to deepen your connection to nature and enhance your birding and naturalist experiences.
