Niagara Gorge Work Plan Development for Ecological Restoration in Whirlpool & Devil’s Hole State Parks

The Western New York Land Conservancy (Land Conservancy) is requesting quotes from qualified contractors to prepare a planning document for ecological restoration work in the Niagara Gorge. The Land Conservancy is the recipient of funding from Empire State Development (ESD) for a project to control invasive species and restore riparian, grassland, and forest habitats critical to rare and declining plants and wildlife within 125-acres along the Niagara Gorge which includes Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls and Devil’s Hole State Park in Lewiston.

One draft version of the Work Plan and materials must be provided to the Land Conservancy in electronic form by 5:00 pm (ET) on Friday, December 15, 2017 and all final documents and materials must be provided in electronic form and one (1) hard copy by 5:00 pm (ET) on Friday, January 19, 2018 unless an extension is granted in writing prior to these dates.
