Volunteers at the 2013 Garlic Mustard Challenge. Each year the Western New York Land Conservancy hosts several events and nature hikes. We clear trails, pull invasive plants, and monitor our properties. We do outreach at festivals and fairs. We send letters and newsletters to our members. Other volunteer opportunities include serving on one of our committees (Conservation, Development, Governance, and Finance), being a property steward, or doing technical research. We also have internships available for students or recent graduates. Although we don’t always have enough volunteer activities to match everyone’s interests, we try to find ways in which you can meaningfully contribute.

If you would like to volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Information Form and email it to info@wnylc.org or mail it to the Western New York Land Conservancy, P.O. Box 471, East Aurora, NY 14052.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Land Conservancy!
